Throughout the year Pinoso has its traditional Spanish Fiestas with renowned parades and musical performances throughout the country, bonfires with a magical feeling and where people go out into the streets. There is also an annual running of the bulls (bulls are not hurt!) That draws crowds from across the region to watch the brave participants join the bulls in the special arena. The town of Elda & Petrer is 20 minutes away by car, it has a large hospital with English-speaking doctors, a variety of bars and restaurants, an indoor shopping center, a large international gym, Carrefour, Aldi, Lidl, cinema with movies in English that are screened weekly, bowling alleys and fast food establishments. Alicante airport, the city and the beaches are only 45 minutes away by car.
