Upstairs: two bedrooms each with a south facing terrace. 5 mins drive to Fuengirola and La Cala El Faro sits on a peninsular and is just a few kilometres from Fuengirola and 28km from Malaga International Airport and is known to the locals for its lighthouse that stands over the peninsula’s point. There is some rocky coastline; hence the lighthouse but either side there are pleasant sandy beaches. This is a popular spot for surfers. The resort is supported by a few Chiringuittos (beach bars) and a number of bars and restaurants can be found either side of the main road at El Faro Playa. It is mainly an urbanised residential area that is very popular with self-catering apartment/villa holidays. For a livelier pace of life, Fuengirola is just a short walk away or a bit of a further walk in the opposite direction is La Cala de Mijas.
